Entropy 2014

“Entropy 2014” was an event organized for the first year students on 13^th of December 2014.  The event  was a participatory gathering organized with a motto of discussing about the upcoming event “cognizance” and also to build a grass root network among technically minded people. There were more than 100 attendees for the event.  The event began with a session conducted by Deepak mohan , link representative. In his session he made the  first years aware of the various portfolios of IEEE and also about the student Executive Committee of FISAT SB.This was followed by a fun task in which complete students were divided into various groups and were given newspapers and were asked to find technical solutions to any five problems  seen in the newspapers. The afternoon session started with the ice-breaking session conducted by Arun r nair,join secretary.The next part of the event  was conducted by Alfred john, technical coordinator.He enlightened the students with more details about the” break through” camp to be held at palakad on January also shared his past IEEE event experiences.This was followed by a fun game session .The objective of this task was fulfilled since it was highly entertaining.Then a best manager competition was held,  this was a deliberate decision to improve the confidence of students and to make them come out of their comfort zone. Aishwarya sasidharan and Ranjith were selected as the best managers. The prizes where distributed to the winners by Ms.Vineetha.The event was concluded after a photo session .The community building aspect of the event can be considered as the key achievement.The diversity of the people participated in the event was amazing. The entire event was highly positive and energetic.
